Global Outreach
GLOBAL OUTREACH
Holistic Life Designs and World Tours and Cruises aim to promote global peace and world enlightenment by bringing cultures together, enhancing one’s social and intellectual capital through multi-sensorial experience of cultural destinations while hosting Holistic Life Designs at Sea Series, Metaphysical Therapy Workshops, Divine Romance at Sea, and Divine Romance Women's and Couple's Retreats at Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Holistic Life Designs and World Tours and Cruises are committed to helping families in developing communities improve their lives through education, vocational training, fair trade and community building. To help regions affected by disaster and conflict, Gina Alzate selects humanitarian organizations that deliver medical aid and relief, both short and long terms, as designated beneficiaries for each of the workshops.
Holistic Life Designs and World Tours and Cruises are pleased to support the following international non-profit organizations with humanitarian missions.
CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. CARE places special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Women are at the heart of CARE’s community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of HIV, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.
Save the Children is the world’s largest independent organization for children, making a difference to children’s lives in over 120 countries. From emergency relief to long-term development, Save the Children helps children to achieve a happy, healthy and secure childhood. Save the Children listens to children, involves children and ensures their views are taken into account. Save the Children secures and protects children’s rights – to food, shelter, health care, education and freedom from violence, abuse and exploitation.
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France in 1971.
Today, MSF provides aid in nearly 60 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters. MSF provides independent, impartial assistance to those most in need. MSF reserves the right to speak out to bring attention to neglected crises, to challenge inadequacies or abuse of the aid system, and to advocate for improved medical treatments and protocols. In 1999, MSF received the Nobel Peace Prize.
The American Red Cross helps vulnerable people around the world to prevent, prepare for, and respond to disasters, complex humanitarian emergencies, and life-threatening health conditions. The American Red Cross accomplishes this goal by working within the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement—the world’s largest humanitarian network with more than 180 Red Cross and Red Crescent national societies and more than 100 million volunteers. The American Red Cross International abide by the seven fundamental principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality.
